Ryan Bass

Born in Miami, FL, Ryan came to Knightcast during the summer of his freshman term at the University of Central Florida. Along with being the host of The Sports Report, Ryan is the beat writer for the UCF Women’s Volleyball and Women’s Basketball teams for the Central Florida Future and also fills the role of Knightcast’s Sports Programming Director. Ryan serves as the “Voice of Knightcast Sports” as he broadcasts play-by-play for UCF Women’s Basketball and other sports with Matt Fontana serving as the color analyst. Ryan has also been an intern for The Miami Herald and served as a screen caller and fill-in producer for WAXY Sports-Talk 790 “The Ticket” in Miami. Ryan’s favorite sports teams include the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat, Florida Marlins and UCF Knights.

Matt Fontana

Before moving to Boca Raton, FL at the age of 15, Matt Fontana grew up in Westchester County, New York. Referred to as the “New York Sports Guy” for his love and knowledge of New York sports, Matt is a die-hard New York Giants and New York Mets fan. Matt joined Knightcast in the summer of his freshman year at UCF and made his first appearance as Ryan’s co-host on The Sports Report. Matt was a sports reporter for The West Side Story, a weekly newspaper for West Boca Raton High School and currently serves as a color analyst for Knightcast sports. Matt is a member of the Delta Upsilon fraternity and competes in numerous intramural sports. In addition to the Giants and Mets, Matt is a huge New York Islanders and UCF Knights fan.

Kyle Israel

A former quarterback for the UCF Football team, Kyle began his stint with The Sports Report after coming on as an in-studio guest in September of 2008. Kyle brings his on-the-field insight and knowledge of the game to the show as well as four years of collegate experience as a college football quarterback. In addition to co-hosting the show, Kyle currently serves as  a high school and college football analyst for Bright House Sports Network. An Orlando native, Kyle attended University High School and currently resides in Orlando. He has appeared on numerous radio shows around Central Florida, including shows on both WHOO ESPN Radio 1080 and 740 The Team. Kyle is a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. His favorate teams include the Orlando Magic and UCF Knights.
